The Business of Multiscreen Television
The German pay-TV bouquet Premiere Star has reached 200,000 homes, according to MD Wolfram Winter, speaking to the German trade publication Digital Insider. The company also reports figures in the black.
According to Digital Insider, Winter expects to double the number of subscribers to 400,000 by the end of 2009. He also expects to sign up more channels during the next few months. Premiere currently markets 35 channels under the Premiere Star brand.
