Ben Verwaayen, the newly appointed CEO of Alcatel-Lucent, will keynote at the upcoming Broadband World Forum Europe 2008 in Brussels. Verwaayen joins other World Forum keynoters, including Didier Bellens, president and CEO of Belgacom; John McMahon, president and MD of Europe for SPTI; Carl-Henric Svanberg, president and CEO of Ericsson; and Julio Linares Lopez, COO of Telefonica.

Verwaayen’s keynote address will take place at 15:00 on the opening day, September 29, 2008.
