The Polish DTH platform Cyfrowy Polsat is to introduce a new pricing structure for its HD channels.
According to Wirtualne Media, the three it currently offers – Polsat Sport HD, Eurosport HD and HBO HD – will from October each cost PLN6 (€1.79) a month to receive. Up until now, they have been included in the price of existing packages.
However, the platform also plans to still offer the HD channels free of charge for the first three months to customers who switch from SD to HD decoders.
Cyfrowy Polsat plans to add another 2-3 HD channels to its offer by the end of this year.
