PPS, the German provider of TV and radio listings, has sealed a deal with UK based TV Genius to jointly market advanced EPGs and VOD applications. The new services will be available on the internet, mobile phones and set-top boxes and is aimed at cable and other platform operators, publishers, software and hardware developers.
Michael Medelin, marketing director at Berlin-based PPS, said in a prepared statement: “We are very much impressed by the innovative software solutions from our partner TV Genius. The combination of intuitive software solutions and platform independent software architecture will greatly enhance our highly differentiated programme data. TV Genius has built a bridge between a linear EPG and VOD data to offer the viewer an integrated navigation experience.”
