Orange has launched its IPTV service Orange TV in Jordan. The service is being offered jointly with Intracom Telecom and the Arab Radio and Television Network (ART). TV from Orange provides its subscribers with a number of streaming TV channels, Video on Demand (VOD) and a host of new interactive services such as weather, news and local information.
The offer comprises Arabic and international content and is available in two tiers. A basic subscription costs JOD25 (about €25) and offers 21 satellite channels, and for JOD30 viewers get an extended tier of 25 channels. VOD streams cost JOD1.50 per request.
