BBC Future Media names COO

BBC Future Media has named Kerstin Mogull as its first chief operating officer. It is the first major appointment in the BBC’s iPlayer division made by new director of Future Media & Technology Erik Huggers.
Mogull will be responsible for the effective management of the division, which also includes the BBC Research facility at Kingswood Warren.
She was previously deputy director, policy and strategy, driving the BBC’s strategy for content across all media platforms. As controller for the Strategy group she held responsibility for some of the corporations recent initiatives including Delivering Creative Future.
