Although traditional news sources are losing ground, Americans still rate television as their top source for news, according to the latest research from the Pew Research Center. But these are mainly older US citizens with a median age of 52.
Younger people are turning more and more to online media for their news, but tend to use a number of sources. Online versions of newspapers are gaining ground with many people preferring them to print ones.
