Less than one week into the Olympic Games, the Polish public broadcaster TVP has already notched up almost one million live streams and over 250,000 unique users on its www.pekin.tvp.pl website.
The site offers coverage of the Games live on eight simultaneous channels, five of which show football, basketball, tennis, badminton, table tennis, judo, wrestling, boxing, taekwondo and cycling competitions.
The remaining three allow users to watch all the live coverage from TVP’s channels TVP1, TVP2, and TVP Sport.
Some of TVP’s Olympic coverage of the Games over the internet is available in HD.
