England Hockey and Simply Media have launched the online television channel England Hockey TV (EHTV). It provides fans with all things hockey that can be accessed direct from their computer or laptop anytime, anywhere and on-demand 24/7.
The new channel’s programming will include highlights of Great Britain and England internationals, among them last year’s European Championships, and archive footage showing classic hockey moments from yesteryear such as the 1986 World Cup in London. In addition to the on-field action, there will be behind-the-scenes insights into the England team, as well as national clubs across the country, training sessions and instruction and interviews with leading personalities in the game.
With England Hockey supplying much of the content, the web hosting and technical aspects of EHTV will be looked after by Simply Sports Media. Sports Media is a division of Simply Media, a company that has over three years experience within the web TV domain and a portfolio of more than 25 digital channels, including six on satellite and cable. The channel will be managed alongside Sports Media’s own portfolio of online sports titles such as GolfBug TV and BreakSweat TV.
