Details have emerged of the Polish DTH platform n’s future strategy. Local reports indicate that it plans to add a further 200,000 subscribers by the end of the year, bringing the total to 520,000.
It also aims to break even by the end of 2009 and to be making an average ARPU of PLN56 (€17.1).
N is backed by, and will eventually be bought by, TVN.
It competes in a market also served by Cyfrowy Polsat and Cyfra+, which have around 2.2 million and 1.1 million subscribers respectively.
