The Czech public broadcaster’s sports channel CT4 is being made available in HD to DTT viewers in Prague and Brno.
Speaking to Digizone, channel spokesman Ladislav Sticha said that programming was being up-converted from SD to HD as “bonus” during the Olympics, and that following the Games the DTT multiplex ‘C’, which is operated by the incumbent telco Telefónica O2, would revert back to distributing the public broadcaster’s first channel CT1.
