Humax has introduced two new personal video recorders aimed at the UK DTT market. The PVR-9300 and PVR-9150T replace the popular PVR-9200T. Both receivers are compliant with the Freeview+ PVR specifications, previously known as Freeview Playback.
The PVR-9300T includes a 320GB hard drive capable of recording around 200 hours of content. The PVR-9150T is a lower cost alternative with just 160GB recording capacity.
The receivers have access to an eight-day Freeview programme guide – in common with other manufacturers Humax has created its own EPG – in addition to the regular PVR functionality the Humax receiver also includes alternative instance where in the event of a recording clash the guide suggests a rerun of the programme later in the day.
The PVR-9300T and PVR-9150T are priced at around £199 and £149.99 respectively.
