O2 TV, the IPTV service operated by the incumbent Czech telco Telefónica O2, ended Q2 with 98,000 subscribers.
The company’s ADSL (wholesale and retail) subscriber total meanwhile stood at 598,000, as opposed to 527,000 a year earlier.
O2 TV made its debut in September 2006 and is one of the most successful IPTV operations in Central and Eastern Europe.
It is hoping to secure at least 40,000 more subscribers by the end of this year or early 2009.
