Freesat has announced the addition of 18 new TV and radio channels that will take the free-to-air satellite platform halfway towards its stated goal of 200 channels.
The first batch of channels will launch this Thursday (July 24) and include Chellomedia’s Zone Horror, Zone Reality and the information channel Russia Today. Also launching are The Fight Network, religious channel Inspiration; PitchWorld; Gems TV; Shop on TV; Netplay TV and Gala TV.
On August 1 new radio stations will be added. These are Capital Radio, XFM, Classic FM, Gold, NME Radio, Insight Radio and BFBS.
