Canal+ has launched a USB stick which enables DTT reception of both FTA and encrypted Canal channels on a PC. The offer includes the three Canal+ Le Bouquet channels (Canal+, Canal+ Cinéma, Canal+ Sport).
The broadcaster sells the USB stick for €99. A subscription will cost €20 monthly, but current Canal subscribers will pay an additional €10 a month for the facility. The device will continue to function for FTA reception when people decide to cancel their subscription. The USB stick only works with Windows computers, not with Apple Mac.
