Kabel Deutschland said it now has over 500,000 internet and telephony customers. This represents a sharp increase from the total of 421,000 at the end of March 2008. Last month, the cabler launched a new marketing initiative promoting internet access and telephony services (see Broadband TV News passim)
Earlier, the operator was awarded a prize for best internet service provider in the country, being the “Bester Internet-Anbieter 2008″. Kabel Deutschland serves around 9 million homes in 13 German states.
