No carriage deals yet for Dutch football channel
The new Dutch live football channel from Endemol and the Eredivisie league has yet to sign its first distribution agreements. According to Dutch press reports, carriage deals are pending with two IPTV providers, KPN and Tele2, as well as with KPN’s DTT platform Digitenne.
Widevine secures Lithuanian deal

Macedonian pubcaster to be privatised
The government of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) is planning to privatise the country’s public broadcaster Makedonska Radiodifuzija (MRD) at the beginning of next year.
German race tracks get their own DTT channel
The German racetracks Norisring near Nuernberg and the Nuerburgring in the Eiffel region each received a license to broadcast during events on a dedicated DTT channel to fans who are visiting the track. At the Norisring no less than four simultaneous channels are available for live coverage of events.
Telenet signs final Interkabel acquisition agreement
The Belgian cable operator Telenet has signed a final agreement with the municipal cable operators and their joint venture Interkabel to acquire the TV activities of the networks.
