German race tracks get their own DTT channel

The German racetracks Norisring near Nuernberg and the Nuerburgring in the Eiffel region each received a license to broadcast during events on a dedicated DTT channel to fans who are visiting the track. At the Norisring no less than four simultaneous channels are available for live coverage of events.

Reception is possible in and around the tracks with any DTT receiver including laptop receivers and mobile DTT sets. All broadcasts are free to air using the DVB-T standard.

This weekend, visitors to the Deutschen Tourenwagen Meisterschaft (DTM) at the Norring will be able to follow the events around the track. In the Eiffel, viewers can see reports from the DAMC Oldtimer Festival.
