VRT Eén HD to get DTH distribution

The Belgian DTH platform TV Vlaanderen has announced it will broadcast the temporary HD channel from public broadcast VRT, Eén HD, during the summer months. The channel is also available on cable in HD quality.
VRT Eén HD will broadcast the Tour de France and Beijing Olymics in native HD, with additional programming being upconverted. The channel will broadcast from the Astra position at 23.5 degrees East and be available at no additional charge to TV Vlaanderen subscribers.
