The broadband and cable operator Broadband Montenegro (BBM) has launched a new pre-paid offer which is primarily targeted at the increasing number of foreigners, mainly from Serbia, Russia, UK, who own property in Montenegro and stay there during the summer months.
Pre-paid users have the option of subscribing for a limited period of time of one, two or more months. The operator currently offers a total of 78 TV channels which include a selection of Montenegrin, regional, European and foreign services. The monthly fee for the basic package with 50 TV channels is €9.95. An additional 14 TV channels are available for €9.95, the five-channel Pink package costs €3.45 and HBO package €4.95, while the full package is €19.95. The digital box costs €85, while the installation fee is €35.
BBM is the only cable operator in Montenegro with a national licence and uses MMDS technology The pay-TV service is currently available in Podgorica, Niksic, Bijelo Polje, Berane, Herceg Novi, Kotor, Tivat, Budva and Bar, to an estimated 30.000 subscribers. BBM plans to shortly launch broadband internet services via the wireless system.
