BKS Capital Partners is consolidating its cable operations in the Czech Republic.
According to local reports, the six companies it acquired in the last three months – Telto, HBTV, Amos, Sater, RTV-5 and KTVM – will be merged into a single one named Nej-TV.
Providing services in 24 towns and cities, Nej-TV’s subscriber total is expected to increase from 28,000 to 100,000 in 18 months.
BKS Capital Partners is based in Prague but has interests in several CEE countries. It is becoming an increasingly important player in a market dominated by UPC.
