Voom HD Networks has announced the launch of two video on demand offerings that have been developed as a companion service to its 24/7 linear channels Voom HD and Rush HD, both of which are distributed internationally.
The statement is unusual as content providers usually leave their initial announcement until their first contract has been signed.
The new VOD service will provide five hours of content per month to operators already carrying the linear channels. Voom HD has gained widespread distribution on cable and satellite platforms in Europe. Rush HD is available in UK and Ireland through Sky.
Voom features lifestyle programming on adventure travel, fashion, luxury living, art, live concerts, and video gaming while Rush is devoted to extreme sports and adrenaline-filled travel.
