Viacom has announced the appointment of Philip Jenner as vice president, government relations, Europe. Jenner joins from Discovery Communications where he has been director of international public policy and government affairs. He was also responsible for licensing and regulatory compliance in the UK and chaired Discovery’s Compliance Committee. Earlier in his career he spent ten years in regulatory affairs at BSkyB.
Jenner will be based in London and report to DeDe Lea, Viacom’s executive vice president of government relations.
