Slovenian telco figures soar

Telekom Slovenije ended Q1 with 181,258 broadband subscribers in its home market, or 17% more than in the same period last year.

It also had a combined total of 73,737 in Kosovo, Macedonia and Bosnia & Herzegovina, a significantly higher 343% rise on 12 months earlier.

The incumbent Slovenian telco posted revenues of €187.2 million in Q1, or 1% more than in the same quarter in 2007, while its EBITDA increased by 13% to €80.9 million.
