ANGA Cable – Cologne. Conax has announced that its conditional access system been selected by the Turkish cable network Turksat.
The dominant operator serves over 1.7 million homes in the region and will deploy the Conax CAS7 CA for its new DTV platform.
The agreement has been signed by Turksat with Conax and Broadcast Group Turkey.
The Turksat DTV platform will initially be based on one central and four regional sites. This will later expand to 25 local sites.
