The Polish MSO Aster has added HD channels to its offer.
According to the operator, which is the country’s fourth largest after UPC, Vectra and Multimedia Polska, they are being offered in three packages, namely HDPack, Discovery HD and Canal+ HD, and will shortly be joined by HBO HD.
HDPack contains five channels (TVN HD, Discovery HD, The History Channel HD, Eurosport HD and Luxe TV HD) and is available for PLN20 (€5.9) a month. Discovery HD is an a la carte service offered for PLN6 a month, while Canal+ HD, also available for PLN6 a month, consists of Canal+ Sport HD and Canal+ Film HD.
Aster is present in Warsaw, Kraków and Zielona Góra. It claims 370,000 analogue and over 50,000 digital TV subscribers, along with 120,000 receiving internet and 50,000 telephony services.
