Czech worries for Digi TV

The DTH platform Digi TV may have run into difficulties in the Czech Republic.

Local reports say the service, which is owned by the Romanian company RCS/RDS, has not paid any of its 400 installers in the country since February, and some as far back as last November.

Digi TV faces particularly strong competition in the Czech Republic, which is also served by the DTH platforms UPC Direct and CS Link. It is understood to have around 150,000 subscribers in the country.
