Viasat has signed a five-year agreement with Telia that will allow the broadcaster to directly market its pay-TV packages to the telco’s 300,000 IPTV customers.
Starting June 1, Viasat’s free-to-air channels TV3, TV6, TV8 and ZTV will also be included in Telia’s ‘Lagom’ and ‘Stor’ packages.
In total 17 channels from the Viasat stable will be made available to Telia customers. The channels will be placed in six packages:Viasat Silver, Viasat Gold, Viasat Sport, Viasat Film, Viasat Sport & Film and Viasat Golf. Prices will start at SEK79 per month and increase to to SEK 299 per month for the Viasat Gold premium package of 16 Viasat channels and 29 third party channels.
