UPC buys Czech MSO

UPC has strengthened its already dominant position in the Czech cable market still further.

Local reports indicate the company has acquired Forcom Net, an operator present in 13 towns and cities in Moravia and eastern Prague, for an unspecified fee.

UPC’s biggest competitor in the Czech cable sector remains BKS Capital Partners, which also has a presence in Poland, and others include F.C.A.
