The Italian IPTV provider Tiscali Digital TV says it will expand its service to six more cities. Bologna, Florence, Genoa, Naples, Palermo and Turin will also be served with the hybrid DTT and IPTV offer, adding a potential four million homes.
Tiscali TV is at the moment only available in Cagliari, Milan and Rome, and the plan is to roll out the service city by city.
The company has also announced that it has signed an agreement with Sony Pictures Television International (SPTI) for the delivery of 1,000 titles to its VOD online library. New contracts have in addition been signed with Disney-ABC International Television and with Yamato Video for a new Manga channel.
