MGM to launch Southern European version

The media authority of the German state of Bavaria has issued a licence to MGM Networks Deutschland GmbH to launch the MGM Channel Southern Europe for a period of eight years. The new channel will debut on the Sky Italia DTH platform on June 1.The new channel will be available in Italy, Malta, Monaco, San Marino, Vatican and Switzerland and broadcast both in Italian and the original movie language (mostly English).
