A new Dutch home shopping channel named ShopZo has made its debut. Initially, the new service is being made available on the three Zesko cablenets, Casema, @Home and Multikabel, in both their analogue and digital basic tiers. However, negotiations are under way with other cablers, and the channel also has a web presence.
ShopZo replaces the defunct LiveShop and is headed by Marc Maters, the former CEO of the closed channel. This time, Maters hopes to keep the channel in the black by running a low cost operation. Programming will consist of various types of homeshopping segments.
