BSkyB has announced the appointment of Andrew Griffith as the company’s new chief financial officer.
Griffith, who was previously BSkyB’s Director of Group Finance, M&A and Investor Relations, joins the board following an internal and external search process. He fills the vacancy created last December by the appointment of Jeremy Darroch as CEO of the satellite broadcaster.
Separately, Danny Rimmer has joined the board as an independent non-executive director. Rimmer is a general partner with Index Ventures and has overseen companies that include Skype, Last.fm, Spot Runner, Lovefilm and Joost.
