Com Hem has added Canal+ Sport HD to its package of high definition TV channels. Sport HD went live on the Swedish cablenet last Friday (March 28).

TVE starts online on-demand portal

The Spanish public broadcaster TVE has started to offer an online in-demand portal which will include both news and current programmes, as well as a selection from its library.

ORF expands online on-demand service

The Austrian public broadcaster ORF has expanded its online on-demand service with daily editions of the current affairs programmes ”ZiB 20″ and “ZiB 24″. The main newscast “Zeit im Bild” as well as live sports events are also available as live streams. 

Cyfrowy Polsat launches own STB

The Polish DTH platform Cyfrowy Polsat has introduced its own set-top box. Known as the SD Mini, it is the smallest receiver available in the Polish market, measuring 19.5cm x 13cm x 3cm, and is being made available in 1,200 official points of sale.
