DTT operator SDN is to offer 1 MB of capacity on Multiplex A. The ITV-owned company says the capacity is suitable for broadcasting a variety of digital services including radio, data, and video, though the capacity is insufficient for full screen broadcasts.
The capacity has become available as a result of services moving off the multiplex ahead of digital switchover.
Multiplex A currently largely carries channels broadcast as part of Freeview.
The deadline for proposal submissions is April 7, 2008.
