Widevine strikes TEO deal

The Lithuanian incumbent telco TEO LT has chosen Widevine Technologies to protect its Interactive GALA IPTV service. Interactive GALA is also using technology from Ericsson (systems integrator) and Motorola (set-top boxes) for the service, which made its debut in 2006 and, according to Widevine, currently has over 20,000 subscribers.
