The ownership of the Slovak DTH platform SkyLink has passed from TBDS to TRI R. TBDS, which was owned by the transmission company Radiokomunikacie, itself split off from the incumbent telco Slovak Telecom, officially folded this February. Radiokomunikacie was acquired by TRI R, a consortium made up of Movys (60%), I.T.A. Telecom Slovakia (30%) and Hampden Investments Ltd (10%) in October 2007. SkyLink is one of three DTH platforms in Slovakia and operates a pre-pay business model.
