The Polish public broadcaster TVP has announced plans to launch another thematic channel. Known as TVP Parlament, it will, as its name suggests, offer coverage of proceedings in the Polish parliament and senate. It will also cover the European parliament and show documentaries and educational programmes. TVP Parlament will be FTA and on air for 16 hours daily. It is expected to make its debut either at the end of this year or beginning of 2009.
