The privatisation of the Slovenian incumbent telco Telekom Slovenije appears to have hit the buffers. According to a local report, the commission overseeing the sell-off of a 49.13% stake in the company is to tell the government it should reject the two remaining bids, neither of which had been improved ahead of a February 29 deadline. There are several possibilities should the tender be closed, including an IPO or possibly even another tender later this year.
