The number of French homes capable of receiving digital television has now reached 46.5%, while the number of homes that rely solely on digital reception now stands at 27.1%, according to the latest research published in the ‘Baromètre de la télévision numérique.’ The growth can largely be attributed to the increase in people watching DTT. However, 34% of all French homes still depend on analogue terrestrial reception, and in total about half of all French homes have at least one analogue receiver.
