Video delivery solutions specialist Harmonic has capped what it is describing as “an outstanding year” with plans grow further through acquisition.
“We are very pleased with our success in extending our product portfolio and expanding our global customer base,” said Patrick Harshman, Harmonic’s president and chief executive officer. “Our successful public offering during the fourth quarter provides us with a strong financial foundation to further grow the business, as well as to continue to pursue selective acquisitions to enhance our technology and market reach.”
Harmonic reported growth in its domestic US and international markets, pushing up net sales by 17% to $88.4 million. Full year net sales were $312.2 million, up 26% from $247.7 million in 2006.
Harshman said the company intended to further extend its product solutions, taking advantage of the demand for HD product, and new internet video delivery markets.
