The Business of Multiscreen Television
Box Television, the Emap-Channel 4 joint-venture, has named Gidon Katz as managing director of the music channels. Katz joins from Virgin Media, where he was director of content acquisition, after seven years in the business development division at the company and its predecessors.
During his time as Virgin, Katz was responsible for launching the cablenet’s VOD service, and various content negotiations.
Katz replaces Box Television’s joint managing directors Scott Monks and Dave Young.
