On February 4 more parts of Austria will no longer have analogue terrestrial broadcasts. The regions of Kärnten, Niederösterreich and Tirol will only have DTT. This paves the way for new broadcasters, both national commercial and regional. Local broadcasters L1TV (Linz) and TV Bd Ischl are already on air, to be followed by a station in Sankt Pölten this spring.
