The Bulgarian national commercial broadcaster Nova TV has announced plans to launch a new cable and satellite channel this March or April. According to local sources, the service will be known as Nova+ and offer reality-type programming obtained from such companies as Endemol, Universal and Warner Bros. Nova TV, which is backed by Greeceās Antenna Group, has said it may also acquire a second channel later this year. Nova TV will be licensed to operate a total of three digital TV services following analogue switch-off.
