Luxe.tv, the Luxembourg based international ‘luxury’ channel, owned by DVL.TV S.A., the mother company producing, editing and broadcasting the Luxe.TV channels, is expanding its European coverage,
The channel was launched on November 26, 2007 on analogue and digital cable and on digital terrestrial, covering the so-called ‘Saar-Lo-Lux’ area with some 2 million people. This is the area of Luxembourg and the German Saarland. (See also our earlier news in Broadband TV News)
Luxe.TV also concluded a cooperation agreement with EuroNews and produces national news and magazines, on top of the lifestyle and luxury items.
Luxe.TV HD is now transmitting its HD feed over Eurobird 9 instead of Eutelsat W3A. Luxe.TV HD/SD started distribution on December 4 on the NetCologne cable systems in Germany. Total reach of the channel in German speaking countries is now one third of the population.
