The Polish national commercial station Polsat secured PLN304,313,127 (€84,503,491) in ad revenue in November, or an impressive 47.2% more than in the corresponding month in 2006, according to TNS OBOP. TVN, though in second place with PLN269,676,760, was 0.1% down on November 2006, and TVP1, with PLN163,975,608, up by 5.1%. The biggest increase – and one reflected in the doubling of its audience share – was posted by the news-based channel TVN24. At PLN24,241,932, its ad revenues were 124.4% higher than 12 months earlier.
