According to local reports, the Czech company CET 21 has been awarded a 12-year licence from the country’s Broadcasting Council (RRTV) for a film channel named Nova Cinema. The channel will be distributed by cable, satellite and IPTV and similar to Romania’s Pro Cinema. CET 21 already holds the licence to the Czech national commercial station TV Nova. TV Nova, Pro Cinema and the latter’s parent company are owned by the US investment group CME.
