The German cable operator Kabel Deutschland KDG has said it has reached 750,000 subscribers 38 months after the introduction of the Kabel Digital Home service. It will also increase the number of services available in the basic digital bouquet with the introduction of four additional music channels.
KDG now claims to be the second largest provider of subscription bouquets in Germany after Premiere.
Kabel Digital Home costs €10.90 a month on top of the basic digital subscription fee; further tiers and a la carte channels are available for prices ranging between €2.90 and €24.90 monthly.
The Kabel Digital Home bouquet consists of 39 channels including the four new music channels. Basic analogue and digital subscription starts at €16.90, offering 30 analogue channels as well as about 100 digital channels. The Kabel Digital Home bouquet comes on top of this basic digital offer.
