German cable operator Kabel Deutschland wants to have 500,000 broadband subscribers by the end of 2008, according to an article in the magazine Capital. In the same article a prognosis by the Deutschen Bank is published, which said the operator will have 2 million broadband homes, most of which will take the full triple play offer.
At the moment, Kabel Deuschland has about 250,000 broadband customers and is attracting customers which packages that are priced below those of incumbent Deutsche Telekom.
