The North American Sports Network has signed a distribution deal with the Starwood hotel chain. The ESPN-owned premium channel will be available in Starwood’s 80 hotels across Europe.
Welcoming the deal Michael Morrison, commercial director, NASN, said sports fans would no longer have to choose between a trip to Europe and their favourite sports. “The agreement with Starwood enables fans travelling to and within Europe on business or pleasure to watch games and ESPN shows in the comfort of their hotel rooms at any time – jetlag will no longer be seen as a curse.”
Starwood hotels include Westin, The Luxury Collection, Le Méridien, Sheraton and Four Points brands.
